I can’t wait to share these cute Valentines Day cards printable love notes with you today, and a fun idea for how you can use them to surprise your special someone. This idea of sweet treat love notes is part of a sponsored campaign for Ghirardelli and Josh Cellars Wines, two brands that I know and love.
What if you could surprise your loved one with a sweet treat leading up to Valentine’s Day? Each day you can find a fun and unique spot to leave them a sweet chocolate treat tucked in a punny love note. Continue all 14 days through Valentine’s Day, bringing both you and your loved one a smile. You could even bookmark this page (Ctrl/⌘ +D) and use these sweet treat love notes any time the year!
Maybe you’ll surprise them before they get their first morning cup of coffee…
Or perhaps the key to a good work day is a little taste of chocolate…
Then perhaps after a long day of work you want to surprise them with a sweet pairing, like a bottle of Josh Cellars wine and a sampling of Ghirardelli chocolate.
Wherever you decide to place your special printable and chocolate treat, snap a photo and share it on social to play along in the surprise I’m talking about at the end of this post!
To get started you need to gather a few things. First pick up a special treat, the Ghirardelli chocolate squares are a decadent treat and they fit perfectly in the little pocket that can be made from my free printable. I picked up some special Valentine’s Day themed bags at Walmart for about $5 each and there are 18 chocolates in a bag. Perfect for these Valentine’s Day cards printable love notes!
Next print the punny love notes on a nice sheet of paper. I used a bit heavier weight printer paper so that I could fold them easily. Cardstock might work as well.

Once you’ve printed your pages you want to cut out each note, but don’t forget to leave the bottom white space attached. This is used to make the pocket for your Ghirardelli chocolate treat.
Take your love note and fold back the bottom edge to create a short back pocket on your love note. Add a strip of tape to close both folded edge sides. Now you’re ready to add the sweet treat!
Have fun sharing some sweet love with these notes. I’ve even included 2 bonus ones so you can use your favorite 14, or double up the sweet treat love on two days.
