Disneyland Checklist for Planning your Disney Vacation Days
While visiting Disneyland can be a magical experience, it also requires some unique additional planning. Dining reservations, ticket options, hotels by Disneyland, fastpass tickets, and show times can all add to your vacation planning tasks. To help you keep it all together, I’ve created this Disneyland checklist for you to record and note your disney vacation plans. If you’re planning to celebrate the new Diamond Celebration this year, you’ll especially want to make note of the special events and activities the resort has planned.

Start off by noting and checking off your hotel accommodations, ticket purchase, and transportation plans. If flying in, you need to plan for how you’ll get to your hotel either by shuttle or car rental. If you’re staying in walking distance of the parks you’re fine there, but if you’re planning to stay farther away you might need to plan for an ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) pass.
Each day you want to consider where you want to eat. Quick counter service restaurants don’t require reservations, but if you’re looking to eat at a a table service restaurant, you’ll want to make your reservations as early as 60 days from your visit date.

To make the most of your vacation, you’ll also want to use this Disneyland checklist to note which rides have fastpasses available. This will allow you to use your park entrance ticket to get a fastpass for an attraction and return at a later “reserved” time to enter a shorter queue for the attraction. Great plan for maximizing your park time. Grab a fastpass then go enjoy a nice meal, snack, or ride and come back at your specified time to reduce your time spent waiting in lines.
You’ll also want to figure out what shows and parades you want to watch and note the start times on your Disneyland checklist.
Disneyland vacations can be so fun for families, and with a little extra planning (and this Disneyland checklist), you can help make your visit to the parks as smooth and enjoyable as possible!

Hi there. I love the planning sheet for Disneyland, but do you have a template for more days? My family is spending 6 days and I’d love to surprise them with something cool like this – plus it will make it easier for me to track! Thanks!!
Hi Lauralee – I don’t have another template for longer trips. You could print off two of the forms and do some fancy white out on the day numbers. :) Thanks so much for visiting my site and I hope you have a fabulous trip to Disneyland with your family!
