We’re Headed to Nick Punta Cana! What Are We Looking Forward To?

NICKELODEON RESORT PUNTA CANA <<
Today marks the day that we’re on our way to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to visit the brand new Nickelodeon Resort that opened there this summer. This trip will be a mother and daughter trip with my youngest, Mia. You may recall my recent mother and daughter trip to Chelan, Washington with my oldest, Lizzy.
This trip has been in the works for months now, so we’re bursting with joy that the day has come! I thought it would be fun to do a little interview with Mia about what she’s most looking forward to.
Seeing as I’ve never been to the Dominican Republic before, I’m definitely interested in taking in the sights and sounds of the beach area where we’ll be staying. An evening stroll along the white sand sounds amazing. So does enjoying a cocktail as the sun goes down! I’m also curious to see if the resort offers any local art or crafts on site so that I can take a something home to remind us of the trip.
Spending time with my baby. We left the single digits this year, and it’s pulling at my heart. I feel like I can barely recall life when they were babies, so I know this time will fly like the past years have. Enjoying each of my girls individually is turning into a major priority for me. So, since I’ll be traveling one-on-one with my ten-year-old Mia, I’m planning to soak in these special moments with her.
I love unique rooms, so can’t wait to see the Nick Punta Cana rooms in real life. It looks like the really did a great job on decorating the rooms for families. The bright orange colors scream Nickelodeon and the Caribbean at the same time. Dare I dream that we’ll land a swim up suite upgrade?! I’m also hoping for a tour of that great pineapple SpongeBob suite!
