Ready for a little Minions movie mayhem in your house? The new Minions movie was released on December 8th, so it’s time to plan your next family movie night!
One of the fun parts of a family movie night in our home is the snacks. Sometimes we share a big bowl of popcorn, but this time I decided to do something special and make minions jello snacks.
I thought the best way to show you how I created these fun minions jello snacks was to create a video and walk you through the steps so you can recreate these yourself and pair them with the new Minions movie for a fun family movie night.
Be sure to follow the directions for the gelatin mold since the directions are different from the traditional gelatin prep instructions. For my recipe I used 3/4 cup boiling water to a small box (3 oz) of gelatin.
The girls absolutely loved the Minions movie jello snacks, and had a crazy time snacking on them while wearing these funny minions goggles that I picked up in the party section at Target. They have a lot of great Minions products so if you have an avid fan you can pick up party supplies, toys, and even some new clothes featuring those lovable yellow guys.
Don’t forget that the exclusive Minions Metal Pak with the bonus content is only available at Target! When I picked up my Metal Pak it was at the entrance and there was even a bonus $5 Target gift card with the purchase.
Do you know who is who of the main minions, Stuart, Bob, and Kevin? Which guy is your favorite?

That is such a cool idea! I have never done a mold like that, let alone taking a traditional shape and creating a movie theme with it. This is perfect for the Minions movie, and your girls I bet were in heaven! #client

Thanks Michelle - my girls loved how they turned out, and even this adult's tastebuds approved. :)
