Feeling at Home with Staybridge Suites Seattle – North Everett

Thank you Staybridge Suites for help in making this fun, overnight family trip happen!

Just north of the bustling city of Seattle sits the seaside town of Mukilteo, Washington, home to ferry boats and neighbor to the great Boeing factory. Our family had some time to venture into Mukilteo recently to visit the lovely, new Staybridge Suites hotel.

Staybridge Suites Seattle – North Everett is a great location for families who need a jumping off spot to explore the local area. Its location is just down the road from the Boeing tour and Future of Flight museum, as well as giving you quick access to the Mukilteo – Clinton ferry which transports you quickly to Whidbey Island for a day of driving exploration. Families can also take time to drive into Seattle for the day, or even venture over to the Cascade Mountains. It’s the perfect spot to plan a weekend getaway or for locals to enjoy a bit of a staycation.

You really can call the Staybridge Suites Seattle – North Everett a “home away from home” while you enjoy some time away. Starting off, they offer a wide variety of room styles that can even accommodate larger families. We stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suite and it had ample space for a family to spread out in and relax. Add in the full kitchen, and you can look at saving time and money by making your own meals during your trip.

If you’re not in the mood to cook, they’ve got you taken care of with that as well. Monday through Thursday they feature a manager’s reception where they serve a light dinner option and complimentary beer or wine from 5:30-7:30 pm. On the night we stayed they served chicken Alfredo and I enjoyed a glass of red wine.

Family fun can happen in and around the hotel! This Staybridge Suites also had a putting green as well as an indoor pool and hot tub. The pool felt like a rooftop pool since it was on the second level, which was the same as the entry/lobby level. I love how it overlooked beautiful evergreen trees, a classic feature of the Pacific Northwest. And for larger groups or families, there is a patio off the pool and lobby that featured sitting areas and BBQ grills.

Once you’re ready to rise and shine and head out for a new day, you can take advantage of the complimentary hot breakfast buffet. For our family the main draw was the waffle machine, yum! Also – coffee lovers, they offer a few different blends as well as to-go cups for you to take it along.

An important feature for families is that there are a lot of tables, so no need to worry about finding a place to sit for breakfast.

Hopefully my photos have helped show just how well the Staybridge Suites Seattle – North Everett works for families as a “home away from home” for a fun weekend getaway or for extended travel plans. The hotel’s location next to Boeing makes it a popular choice for business travelers, as well as being well situated for families looking to explore the northern region of Seattle. It’s a great spot to stay if you’re looking to visit the Boeing factory tour, Future of Flight museum, or Whidbey Island ferry.

That is a really nice hotel. I would love the pool and the morning coffee. I also like that you can cook in your room if your want or need to.
