From the moment you wake ’til the moment you’re ready to call it a night, food is one of the areas of adventure to discover while on vacation. And when you’re visiting Phoenix restaurants, you’ll have plenty of choices for your taste buds to try. Once you’ve pulled on your stretchy pants, take on this list of a 24 hour day filled with gastro delights.
Breakfast

Don’t hate your alarm when it’s time to wake up, instead head to Snooze, a Denver-born eatery that features both sweet and savory dishes alongside a throwback 50s decor. I love breakfast joints, and this one is a must for AM eaters. The food alone isn’t the only reason to visit, the staff all seem to actually like their jobs and have enthusiasm while serving (we visited the Gilbert AZ location). Here’s a look at their signature Sweet Potato Pancake, and my order of Juan’s Breakfast Tacos.

Lunch

Now you’re ready to head into Scottsdale for a little local flavor by way of the windy city, Two Brothers Tap House & Brewery. The brewery is housed in an old warehouse that the brothers made over into an open space restaurant, perfect for pub food and a hand-crafted brew. Hopefully, your breakfast has settled and you’re ready for some nachos, hot dogs, and a beer.

Dinner

When you’re ready for a truly unique experience, I’ve got the perfect spot for you to head for dinner. Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort’s restaurant Different Pointe of View is a renowned, AAA Four-Diamond award-winning mountaintop restaurant which features a striking dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows highlighting panoramic views of the Valley’s desert landscape, the city’s lights and Arizona’s breathtaking sunsets. But for a truly over-the-top dining experience, call and ask about booking the chef table’s wine tasting event. You’ll watch your meal be made in front of you with a commentary from the chef and each dish is paired with one of their delicious wines.

Late Night

And if you’re still not ready to call it a night, and want to hang out with friends, a visit to Culinary Dropout and The Yard need to be your final stop for the day. This renovated warehouse reminds me of a really big frat house or bachelor pad, only with good decorators. You can grab some great food as well as your favorite brew or crafty cocktail and just relax and enjoy hanging out with friends.

Now one day of gastro delights is lined up for you, and there are many more Phoenix restaurants that can keep your taste buds happy. Happy eating!
