Today I’m sharing our summer vacation style with the clothes I’ve purchased from one of our favorite stores, Kohl’s. Thank you to Kohl’s for providing me gift cards to facilitate this post.
We’ve been having some great sunny days lately in Seattle, which partnered with my kids counting down the number of school days left, has me dreaming of our upcoming summer vacation plans! So far we know that we’re going to head to Edmonton, Alberta on a road trip, plus a trip to Missouri to visit family, and now we’ve all got a new outfit ready to pack for those hot summer days. Ready to check out our summer family fashion style?
First, I’ll show off my good-looking husband. I found this great Helix plaid shirt and paired it with these sharp Vans Keyston shorts. I actually picked up two of the shorts since they’ve got a great modern look but also have a bit of a formal feel in the cut.
Next, I’m going to show off my sweet dreamer, Faith. She’s always at home in gauzy skirts so when I spotted this high-low IZ Amy Byer skirt, I knew it was perfect for her. I was able to find this too cute Mudd panda tee and she’s ready to go on an adventure. I just wish now that we were headed to the Grand Canyon since her outfit has a bit of southwest flair in my opinion!
Now comes my tween, Grace. I “think” I’m finally tuning into her style, although she’s still the one I have the hardest time choosing for. I knew that she needed some shorts, and not short shorts per mom, plus she’s really into cropped tees, so off I went to search. Kohl’s actually had some great short options and quite a few of them actually had legs…can you believe it?! I found these Mudd denim bermuda shorts that have some cool stitching detailing and paired them with this fun Mudd arrow crochet top. She loved both and I think it fits her tween sense of style quite well. Both pieces will be perfect for our upcoming trips.
Now, it’s my turn. The second I walked in the door I fell in love with this pair of ELLE floral chino shorts, and the only thing left was to find the perfect top to pair them with. Thankfully over in juniors I finally spotted this silky Candies bow back tank and my outfit was complete! Pairing the silky tank helps dress the outfit up a bit, but I know that I could also layer some basic tanks to keep things casual. I’m so happy with my new summer outfit!
We’re ready for some summer adventures and to explore in style! Which outfit was your favorite?
