You might have heard the news that a little known movie series, Star Wars, is loading a new feature into it’s entertainment star power. Star Wars : The Force Awakens activity pack
While I fondly remember the Star Wars movies from my childhood, I’m eager to see how they build upon the series with this new episode. We just introduced the girls to the series last month and had to make a choice on how to present the series to them. Did you know that there are opinionated “camps” who have strong opinions on the order the movies should be viewed?
Some say released date order is best, this is how we introduced the films to our girls. Reminiscent of our childhood this order watches the episodes in order of release, IV, V, VI, I, II, III. Some people feel they should be watched in the order the George Lucas intended, I, II, III, IV, V, VI. One fan has even developed his own order based on the storyline and plot building, this “machete order” means watching the episodes in the order of IV, V, II, III, VI. He’s even pulled episode I out of the lineup due to it’s irrelevance in the overall plot line of Luke and Anakin.
