Friday Faves 2: Chargers, Shoes, and Mounties
Hey you guys, another week with my new series! Friday Faves is a chance for me to share all the cool things I’m using in my life or just interesting things I want to share with you.
Here’s my latest vlog sharing all about battery chargers, comfy shoes, mobile hotspots, a favorite body product, and a book and tv series that features a Canadian mountie! Note that I mess up the name of the book/show in this one, it’s When Calls the Heart.

Love these things! If you’re ever running into the problem of running out of battery power on your phone or tablet, these things are awesome. Just keep them charged, throw it in your purse, and anytime you need to top up your phone, plug it in. The larger ones have more power in case you need multiple charges.
Skechers Go Walk Shoes
This Christmas gift from my hubby is one of my faves! Love these shoes for everyday wear and especially for lots of walking say at conferences and such. They’re very light and feel great.
Mobile Hotspot

If you ever need to get some work done while using public transit or while waiting for your kids to do their sports, these hotspots can be great. You have to buy monthly data cards, but then you just select the device from your wifi connection list, add the password, and you’re ready to work.

If you love body products you’ve got to give LUSH a try. I love their bath bombs, but I’m also loving this massage bar. They have facial soaps that I’ve tried and not loved, but all their other stuff has been great!
When Calls the Heart
I totally messed this one up in the video, but it’s correct here! I haven’t read the book yet, but I’m starting now. I’m looking forward to reading the book and seeing the inspiration for the Hallmark tv series that I got hooked on in December. The story focuses on a young woman from a rich family who leaves her family to find her purpose in life by teaching kids in a poor coal mining town out west. She has a few problems, and a run-in with a Canadian mountie, and now I can’t wait for season 3 to debut on February 21st.
