FINDING DORY Movie Family Fun Activities

FINDING DORY is swimming into theaters tomorrow, Friday June 17th, and it’s a must see for families. I was able to take Mia to see it on Monday and we both loved it! Dory was such a strong character in the Finding Nemo movie, so it’s great to see her get her own story line. For families looking for a great summer activity, I highly recommend you watch the movie, then use this great Disney PIXAR FINDING DORY activity pack and coloring pages to help entertain the kids this summer.

About FINDING DORY

One of my favorite parts of FINDING DORY was seeing some of the cute characters from Finding Nemo, but also meeting a great new bunch of fishy pals that come into contact with Dory. The movie starts with Dory living life with Nemo and Marlin, but suddenly she remembers she has a family. In true Dory fashion she’s ready to hit the waters to find her family, she just needs her friends to come along and help keep her on track.

Along the way Dory will have to face problems she has to overcome, as well as continually refiguring her next step when she realizes she has not yet found her family. You’re sure to laugh out loud at some of the new characters, all who have unique and engaging personalities, exactly what you’ve come to expect from PIXAR. Hank the Octopus will keep you guessing on whether he’s good or bad, and after meeting Bailey you’ll never be able to keep a straight face when you hear the word echolocation.

PIPER

In classic PIXAR fashion, FINDING DORY opens with a new PIXAR short film, Piper. I guarantee your theater will erupt in “awwws” the moment the audience first spots Piper, and adorable baby sandpiper. Piper has to figure life out, and you’ll chuckle and laugh as he/she attempts to learn to catch her own food in the surf of the beach.
