If you’re a person who likes cute lists, Target has a travel pack list in their dollar bin section right now.  You might have to edit and add to make the list work for you, but it sure is a cute starter point.

Kid’s Rolling Suitcase – $19

Target Kids Suitcase

Target Kids Suitcase

Target is running a sale on their luggage right now (through Saturday May 18th) and it includes a cute Embark Kids Upright Suitcase.  $19 (regularly $32.99) for a suitcase is a great deal.  It seems to be fairly lightweight, but it has good reviews on Target’s website.  I think this would be ideal for a road trip but it might not hold up well to airline baggage handling.

I’ve always suspected that I liked planning for trips almost more than the actual trips, and I really love looking for cool travel items!

Shows aboard the Norwegian Pearl during our family Caribbean cruise

While we had so much fun enjoying the different ports of call; activities aboard the ship were also fabulous.  One of our favorite things to do was watch the evening shows.  Each evening they featured a special and unique show including musical numbers, magic, and comedy.  The Stardust Theater is a beautiful venue and you [...]

Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas This is [...]

Stateroom Balcony View Norwegian Pearl

Stateroom Balcony View Balcony Stateroom We loved our stateroom aboard the Norwegian Pearl. We had a mid-ship balcony stateroom on deck 10. Our room was setup with two single beds pushed together and made up as a queen bed. There was a sofa that pulled out into a single bed and another single bed [...]

Our Family Caribbean Cruise on Norwegian – Part 1: Car Rental & Arrival

Our family cruised the Caribbean aboard the Norwegian Pearl

In November our family went on our first cruise.  My husband and I have cruised before, but this was our first cruise with kids.  And…we LOVED it!  It was our first experience with Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), and one we’ll repeat again. We had flown early into Orlando so I could take part in a [...]

Get Ready for a New Look!

I haven’t posted in quite a while, but it’s not because I’ve disappeared or lost my love of traveling.  Never!  Our family has taken a few vacations since my last post, but I’ve been working towards a beautiful new site design before posting anything.  I figured since I’ve just begun and don’t have any loyal [...]

Planning a Road Trip? Check for Hotel Promotions Before you Book

RoadTrip

Last year we took a trip from Seattle to Kansas City to visit family.  We took our time driving and seeing sites which led to multiple hotel stops along the way.  Before I booked our travel, I looked at some of our favorite hotel chains for summer travel promotions.  Sadly, there really weren’t any that [...]
